As the parent of a child with special needs, I was overwhelmed with appointments and opinions. Traditional therapies began to feel like a cycle of scrutiny followed by a prescription to repeat movements that my son was not yet able to achieve independently. Although the medical teams were well-intentioned, their focus on what remained just outside of my son's ability resulted in extreme frustration for both of us.  Through Kathleen, we learned that forcing a child into the next developmental step was not the only way.  Instead, she awakened my son's awareness of his next developmental step so he could choose to take it. Not only was it more efficient in moving his development forward, the positive impact on his confidence was remarkable.

Kathleen has been described as a "child whisperer," or a "miracle-worker." Both have held true through our experience with her; she is solidly a master at her craft.
